Sunday Coffee Morning: Nail polish Musings

Good Morning!
I hope your Sunday is as beautiful as mine :)

Now we're well into August, and Summer is fading, I start to think of Autumn.

Why?

Because in Aberdeen Autumn is the second longest season next to Winter. We don't really really have Summer here. Winter is from mid November to April. Spring is May and June. Then we get something that resembles Summer in July, and once August comes around Autumn is already trying to get its foot in the door.

Also because Autumn is my favourite season. I love the clothes, the scents, the make up and the nail polish. OMG the nail polish. So lush and glam.

I have been shamelessly lust after these collections since I first saw these swatches.

I think the best way to ease into a new season is with on trend polish. It's cheaper and more subtle than a wardrobe over haul (although that is next on my list). I have already placed an order for the Metro collection and I'm waiting for my supplier to get the other two collections in stock. I know it seems like a lot of polish to buy, but I have justified it. This way I have al my bases covered for any A/W nail trend for the next five years, and maybe a few Summer trends too :)

In the meantime I think I need to organise my current collection to house the new comers!

Beauty Wish List

Two Foundations I can't wait to try.

Chintz - I saw this lipstick on Kiera Knightly and have been in love with it ever since.

I got wait listed for this last summer. But I missed their call, so I guess they sold it to the next person who picked up their phone. I'm gonna try again for it this year.

I Lorraine Stanick recommend this quad, I'm in love with the neutral yet smokey possibilities.

Just Because!

Freaking YSL Rouge Volupte in Nude Beige. I also wanted Sensual Silk but it's been discontinued.

Harmony For Eyes 5-colour palette in Tawy. I'm getting this with my Boots points. The LE Spring palette, another Boots Points purchase me thinks.

I know I don't need all three, although that would be nice, I'm happy to settle for one of them.I've been eyeing this up for nearly a year, one day I'll cave in and buy it.

All Time Favorite Mascara! I'ved used many different mascaras but I always end up coming back to this one.

I have used up six products for my Project Pan, but that was mostly lucky timing and Spring cleaning. Let's see what the rest of the month holds.

Sunday Coffee Morning: 2011 Wish List

Good Morning my Lovelies.

I'm not fool enough to go out in this weather not even for the boxing day sales. There's icicles outside my window as thick as a freaking drain pipe!

I've poshed up my coffee today with some ameretto syrup. Anna gave me a huge bottle of it for Christmas.

I have developed an obssesion for rings, but mostly stacking rings and cocktail rings. I keep meaning to save for the things I really want, but I keep being drawn in by cheap alternatives from Primark and they just don't last as long. I'm thinking I should avoid Primark for a while and save.

I also have a wish list for the new Mac Collections coming in January (Cham Pale and Stylishly Yours) which I've already saved for. It's the first time I've been so excited about Mac collections lol.

Have any of you got your eye on anything from the collection?

Anyaways, my coffee is cold.
