Beauty Wish List
Two Foundations I can't wait to try.
Holiday Over!
I put in for a repeat prescription for my pill and when I get there they only give me a month’s supply and tell me I’m over due for a yearly blood pressure check. Apparently that’s a possible side effect from my brand of contraceptive, I also want to question the GP about DVT or Deep Vein Thrombosis. I don’t know much about it and I’m scared to research it. But what I do know is it cause blood clots in your legs, usually people on long haul flights suffer from it. sometimes these blood clots get loose in the body and travel and they sometimes burst. And if this happens in your brain or you heart, you will die. Did I mention that certain brand of contraceptive pill can make you four times more susceptible to DVT. I know if I do any research myself I’ll end up in some paranoid coma, so I’m going to talk the doctor about it and hopefully I’m not at risk.
On to less depressing things.
I had quite a relaxing holiday, I lazed around and did very little. I had planned to do a lot, but to be honest I couldn’t be arsed. I had planned to film a lot for Youtube, and do a bunch of work for the blog, all of which I could get done in my evenings if I were more organised. So I figured if I get all the lazy vibes out of my system I will be more productive.
But to get the ball rolling, what do you what to see?

NOTD: Purple Ash by Models Own
I love the colour selection of Models Own nail polish range. It’s a great way to try the new it colour of the season without breaking the piggy open.
As with all Models Owns, it applied smoothly and took only two coats. The only downside is the smell, it reminds me of the cheap Glitzy Glam polishes I used to get when I was 12. So make sure you’re in a ventilated area.
Purple Ash is quite unusual. It turns slightly colours when the light changes. In the bottle it looks like a dirty purple, on the nails it turns into a beautiful ashy purple and in other lights it reminds me of a darker version of Rimmel’s Jungle Princess. Purple Ash is amazing if you love the griege trend but want to change it up a bit.
I’m loving this polish, I think I might have found a new favourite.
What polishes are you loving?

Pixie Jabber
The No7 Spring collection came in and I fell in love with the lipsticks and they had cream liners. I picked up the black cream liner and both the lipsticks. The lipsticks are called Grace and Brigette and I can only imagine they’re named after Grace Kelly and Brigette Bardot.
No7 Lipsticks Grace and Brigette
N07 Swatches Brigette and Grace.
Grace is one of those ‘my lips, but better’ shades, which, to be honest, I could have passed on as I have have so many shades similar. Brigette however, is an awesome colour. To start with I thought it looked like Viva Glam Gaga, but it’s paler and more milky. Kind of like a strawberry milkshake for the lips.
Quick Pink Comparison
Revlon Pink Pout, Rimmel Pink Blush, No7 Brigette and Viva Glam Gaga.

I really want to get back ups of Brigette because it is limited edition and if I use my Boots points I’m technically not cheating the project.
As for the weight management I will start that in March when the warmer weather starts to ease in. Plus I’m going to join the new gym at the Ibis hotel, it’s called Puregym and dosen’t open until March 11th. It’s going to be great, they’re open 24/7 and they have a shloo of classes. I'm really excited. Anna's going to join with me, she going to tenerife in the Summer to don a bikini and she wants to tone up with me.
Anyways enough jabber

Project Pan With A Twist
Well, no, it’s not that difficult. I just had bad timing and I’m impatient. Whenever I did PP, a new product would be released that I would desperately want, and in every colour. This probably happened because I knew I wasn’t allowed to buy them and that made me want them more.
So this year I want to do Project Pan with a reward system. I had a look through all the cosmetics and beauty products that I own and I have to admit I own too much and have to do something about it.
The idea behind PP is to pick a certain products and aim to finish them, and you’re not allowed to buy any make up until these products are finished. In theory this is a great plan. However, in order to finish those product, you need to use them everyday and, depending on the amount of product that’s left, you can be stuck using the same products for a long time. The end result is boredom and shiny, new products are tempting.
The version of PP I’ve come up with is a target and reward system. Every month I will aim to use up between 5-10 products and when I reach the targets I get rewards.
The products I aim to use can be anything from moisturiser to nail polish remover, from shampoo to foundation, basically anything in the beauty product or cosmetics category. The reward is an allowance to spend on make up. If I use up 5 products, my reward is £50 and if I use up 10 products, my reward is £100. I don’t have to spend all the allowance or any at all, I can save it and add it to the next month if I want to.
I’m allowed to repurchase beauty products that I’ve used up if I need to, things like shampoo, body scrub, etc. Since make up is what I’m trying to restrict, I’m only allowed to buy cosmetics with the allowance.
Let me know what you guys think of this plan. I’m starting it in February and I’ll keep you guys updated.

Weightloss?
As it turns out I’m carrying almost 40lbs of fat and I could easily sort out this issue with some exercise. Although I’m not saying I’m going to try and lose 40lbs, because weighing anything under 90lbs is just ridiculous not to mention probably impossible for me to achieve.
But with Boho season nearly upon us, I am going to have to slim down to get back into my tummy clinging dresses. I do have a plan but working around food is throwing me off a bit. I smell it and it smell so yummy, but then I get half way through eating what ever it is and realise it’s just tasteless, greasy crap.
So I plan on making salads for work, filling myself up with veg has always worked in past. Plus I love eating fruit and veg so it’s not too much of a bother. I also have an exercise regieme, which I do 3-5 times a week. It consists of 30 mins cardio on the stepper (which also tones my legs and bum) with 1kg weights for toning my arms. Then I do tummy work with different types of crunches. If I get bored I have the ‘30 day shred’ dvd and 2 of the ‘Pump it up’ dvds which are really fun and energetic.
Let’s talk goals. Taking into acount that I weigh 124lbs and I’m carrying approx 40lbs of fat, I’m aiming to lose between 10-20lbs. I’m not gonna be silly and say “I want to reach this goal by the end of February”, I’m hoping to reach this goal by the beginning of May.
I’m going to do a kind of online weigh in with you guys every Monday. I’ll post a picture of the reading on the scale and every second week I’ll post progress pics.
Do you guys have any plans to shed a few lbs for summer?
Are you doing it for bikini or boho?

Update!
I thought it time to explain my absence.
I have the flu, but it's almost gone. I've kinda been lacking the drive to talk about beauty or anything in great detail. But I have a stack of things I want to talk about and will return to regular posting asap.
Love and Bugs.
